Clear Lake

THE PLACE:

Clear Lake Camp is located on Clear Lake in Dowling, Michigan. It offers a serene rural environment less than an hour's drive from Lansing, Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo. It is 130 miles from Detroit, 180 miles from Chicago and 350 miles from Toronto. The closest airport is Gerard F. Ford International airport in Grand Rapids (camp organizers can arrange transportation between this airport and camp site). There are bus and train routes from Detroit to Battle Creek - from which we can do pickups.

THE FACILITIES:

With 175-acres of forests, fields, and lakeshore, Clear Lake Camp is the perfect setting for groups to connect with nature. The 184-acre lake has a beach and canoes. In the main building there are two halls with wooden floors which can be used for dancing and have a view of Clear Lake. There is a swimming area and a fire pit next to the lake. 

ACCOMMODATIONS:

The lodging is in two buildings, dormitory style, with shared rooms of 20 persons maximum. Bathrooms are communal/shared. Tenting option is available (with the use of the communal bathrooms).
